Electrical Refits, Installations, and Troubleshooting

Modern pleasure boats have most of the comforts of a house – with that comes a heavy dependence on electricity. Adding equipment to older boats rapidly overwhelms an electrical system designed to handle only the basic factory installed components. You guessed it…electrical malfunctions have become one of the most common maintenance problems for boat owners.

We are ABYC Certified in boat electrical systems with the know-how to track down the source of electrical issues and make the necessary corrections to get you back on the water. And, if you have a good old boat, with an outdated electrical system, we can design a robust system that fits your current boating style and your wish list for future electronics upgrades.

Project Management

How do you know that the shipyard managing your refit has your best interests in mind? Are their recommendations influenced by anything other than what is best for you and your yacht?

We believe that every yacht owner should have an advocate in their corner who has the knowledge and experience to ensure projects are completed to the highest standard. We can  keep track of costs and materials, make project recommendations, handle day to day communication with the yard and subcontractors, and we’re not influenced by outside factors or management trying to cut costs at the expense of quality work or materials.

We make decisions in your best interest, so you can be sure that every project we handle will improve your yacht, making you fall in love all over again every time you step aboard.

Examples of projects we can manage for you

  • Full and partial systems refits - electrical, electronics, plumbing, etc

  • Exterior - deck re-coring, hull/superstructure painting

  • Interior renovations

  • Engine/generator replacements or rebuilds

Yacht Services

Just to get away for a weekend on the boat requires a check-list that includes maintenance tasks, cleaning, provisioning – the list goes on. It’s easy to forget something important that holds up departure from a well deserved boating get-away. Even the average sized boat sometimes requires a crew to handle all of the logistics.

We will be that crew you wished you had on occasion, to make your get-away plans as relaxing as the trip itself. We will hit all of the points of your pre-departure check-list, and have your boat ready to go when your friends and family arrive at the boat.
